Shop Knowledge Network
An optional, privacy-conscious capability designed with customer controls. Where enabled, shops can receive assistive part suggestions from anonymized patterns — with staff review before anything hits a job. This is not automatic cross-shop customer-data sharing.
Opt-in, assistive, human-reviewed
Knowledge Network is designed as an opt-in experience, not an automatic broadcast of shop or customer data. On work orders with equipment linked, suggested part lines typically start from your shop's own history first, then similar make/model/engine units, and only then anonymized patterns where applicable. Nothing is added automatically — techs and writers confirm or reject each suggestion.
What may be used (anonymized where applicable)
- Equipment make, model, and engine type (for example Freightliner, Cascadia, Detroit DD15)
- Anonymized part descriptions and part numbers on matching equipment
- Aggregated counts that help catalogs reflect common equipment in the field
What is never shared
- Customer names, contact information, or billing details
- Unit numbers, VINs, plates, or driver-identifying information
- Work order numbers, invoices, pricing, labor rates, or shop financials
- Suggestions from other shops without staff review and confirmation
Patterns only appear in licensed commercial exports when enough independent shops contribute to meet anonymity thresholds — protecting any single shop from being identified. Knowledge Network is not currently positioned as a primary public marketing claim.
Commercial licensing
Any in-app knowledge features are governed by the EULA and customer controls. OEMs, dealer groups, and analytics partners may license anonymized aggregates separately under a data agreement.
